It is worth noting that the smallest T3 engine cannot be combined with the optional four-wheel drive but is only available as front-wheel drive. The diesel variants are the proven D3 and D4 engines that produce 148 and 187 horsepower respectively. A common concern regarding cars in this size class is the size of the luggage compartment, which means that many may choose a larger (and in some cases more expensive) car model. A tip is to test drive the car model to get a better idea of the practical features. In the case of the Volvo XC40, there is a luggage volume of 460 liters with the rear seat in the folded position. In many cases, the cargo space lasts longer than you think.
