The Peugeot 508 is a large family car in the same size class as a Volvo V70 or Volvo S80 and was introduced in Sweden for the 2011 model year. At that time, it replaced both the smaller 407 and the slightly larger 607. The estate car is given the additional name "SW" after the number combination in Peugeot language. The steering wheel is flat in shape and placed low. The driving characteristics in both models offer a lot of sportiness and it is clear that the chassis is well tuned for taking curves. The car with the 225 horsepower gasoline engine is particularly sporty. All engine choices except the smallest diesel engine are connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Peugeot 508, and especially the sedan model, is for the driver who prioritizes form and sportier driving but at the same time needs plenty of space.
