Both are gasoline-powered and the hybrid engine has 98 horsepower without electric drive included, the electric motors together generate 72 horsepower.

It is the same drivetrain as the well-known environmentally friendly Toyota Prius - the petrol engine and the generators (two in number) are mounted at the front with the nickel batteries that supply the generators located under the rear seat for weight distribution. Consumption is 0.36 liters per mile in mixed driving according to the manufacturer's information, but in city driving it should only consume 0.33 liters per mile thanks to low speeds when the petrol engine does not need to work. However, the consumption is higher than that stated for its sibling Toyota Prius, which only needs 0.3 liters of petrol per mile in mixed driving, but this is a car with, among other things, lower ground clearance and thus lower air resistance.
