How much does it cost to sell your car?
How do you know what my car is worth?
We have extensive experience in car valuations through our sister company Bilpriser. The valuation is based on our own statistics and forecasts, as well as sales prices from kvdbil.se and other players. When you enter your registration number, we retrieve information about your car from the car registry and through our database we obtain the car's value.

Our database consists of more than 15,000 car models and 200,000 versions of these. Our starting point is that all models have unique depreciation curves. Please read more about our valuations here.
How do I sell my car to you?
Start by entering your car's registration number and submitting an expression of interest here . You will then be contacted by one of our appraisers who will conduct an inspection of your car over the phone. During the call, you will also receive a price quote for your car. You can then drop off your car at one of our locations, or we will pick it up at your home.

How do I know where in the sales process my car is?
When you register an expression of interest, you will receive an email from us that we have received it. We will then keep in touch with you via email and text message, and you can always follow your car during the process by logging in with your email address and password at kvdbil.se.
If you have not received an email or would like other information than you have access to, call our customer center and we will help you!

What happens if my car doesn't sell?
If, after two auctions, we do not receive sufficiently high bids for your car, you as a private individual can collect it back free of charge. If you have chosen additional services in your sale, you may be charged for these. If you choose to cancel the deal before these two auctions, you will be charged SEK 4,375 for Kvdbil 's labor costs.
For companies: If, in the unlikely event, the car is not sold after two auctions, the cost for testing and documentation will be SEK 3,500 excluding VAT. Costs for any additional services will be added.

Buying a car through us at Kvdbil is easy and safe! Our used cars are sold either through car auction or at a fixed price kvd.se. You can clearly see how many people are participating in the bidding and what their bids are. Car auctions are a security for you as a buyer, because you know that with us you will never pay more than 500 kronor more than what someone else is prepared to buy a car for online. All of our cars at car auction have a set date and time for the auction to end. You can find the time for this in the car's advertisement.

All used cars that you find at car auctions or at fixed prices on kvd.se have undergone our extensive KVD test. The test involves professional vehicle technicians examining and test driving the car before it ends up on the car auction or fixed price page. The results of the test are then published in the car's advertisement. We neither embellish nor withhold information about the car's condition. Instead, any damage is documented with text and images, which means that you, who are going to buy a car, do not need to take unforeseen expenses into account, but know exactly which car you are buying.

Our business concept is based on the car being so well and objectively described that you don't need to see the car in person to form an opinion when you buy a car online. If you still want to see the car before you place a bid on one of our online car auctions, you can contact our customer center and book an appointment for this.

Buying a used car at a car auction or at a fixed price through us should be safe, which is why the Consumer Purchase Act applies and you have the right to make a complaint about the car if hidden defects become apparent after the purchase. When you are going to buy a car, we can of course also help you with, among other things, a favorable car loan, insurance and warranty for the car. Contact our customer center and we will tell you what we can offer you when you are going to buy a car. If you wish to pay for the car on site when handing over the keys, that is of course also fine.
