Messy excel sheets, documents flying around and it's hard to keep track of all the leasing periods. This is how it CAN look. But there are other ways. We asked our friends at Forsbergs Fritidscenter.

Forsbergs Fritidscenter , the largest motorhome and caravan retailer in the Nordic region, is now part of the KVD group and has seven centers around the country. These centers have a number of company cars, all of which are used for different purposes. We asked Emelie Ekborg Mattsson, system manager at Forsbergs, how they went from a messy Excel document to a well-organized and customized tool.

"We had a hard time keeping track of our company cars around the country. And let's not even talk about how tricky it is to keep track of all the odometer readings and associated documents," says Emelie Ekborg Mattsson.

Need to gather everything together

By entering our corporate ID number in the Fleet Manager tool, we were able to quickly and easily enter all our cars in one place. We could then add notes about, among other things, which center the car belongs to and the area of use of the car. This way, we could keep track of which cars are "pool cars" and which are service cars, says Emelie Ekborg Mattsson.

Forsberg's best tips for Fleet Managers:

• We digitally collect the documents linked to the car, such as leasing agreements and warranty certificates.

• By asking the driver to take a photo of their odometer reading and upload it to the tool, we can see the respective odometer readings of all cars.

• We easily keep track of the latest inspection date, which makes it much easier for our employees in the workshops.

• We make notes on cars when it's time to sell and then we can start a sale with the click of a button.

• Bonus! As someone who works with various reports, Fleet Manager is very useful for me, for example for the annual sustainability report, says Emelie with a laugh.
