4 quick tips on Eco-driving

14 augusti, 2022

1. Bridge opening or traffic jam? Turn off the engine - idling consumes unnecessary fuel and is not particularly environmentally friendly.

2. Remove equipment! Roof racks, roof boxes or bike racks that are not in use consume extra fuel due to increased wind resistance.

3. Throttle correctly! Release the throttle on downhill slopes and keep a steady throttle when driving uphill.

4. Skip a gear! From second gear you can shift to fourth (and down again). Release the gas and when the car reaches 1800 - 2000 rpm you can skip two gears instead of one.
