When does a bidding end?

Each auction has a set date and time when it closes. The time is always shown in your local time zone. You can place bids up until that time. If a bid is placed just before the auction closes, it's extended by 3 minutes and 30 seconds. An auction can also close before the set time if the car is bought at a fixed price, which is available up until 48 hours before closing.
