What do we notice in the Kvd test?
Our vehicle technicians have tested the car on more than 170 points and noted both approved points and eventual remarks. This gives you a good and fair picture of the car.
Since the the car has had a previous owner, some signs of use may be present, which we consider normal wear based on the car’s age and mileage. This is not indicated in the test results, but is a natural part of a used car.

The drivetrain works as it should but requires ongoing maintenance and replacement of components. The drivetrain is noisier than on a car that has driven a shorter distance. Traces of oil in the engine compartment are very common and oil consumption is higher than when the car was new.

Brakes are wearing parts and should be replaced when necessary. Surface rust may occur on the brake discs and is normal, without affecting the braking effect.

Noise from electric tailgate opening/closing. Front wiper blades noise. Steering wheel is crooked, wheel alignment recommended. One key’s remote control is not working, the key is damaged where the battery is replaced so it has not been tested. Noise front left from either control arm bushing or ball joint.
Technology and equipment work as they should, but squeaks and jamming occur.

Crack in left rear light. Crack in right rear light. Multiple stone chips, door edge dents, dents and scratches. Few rust spots.
Several stone chips in the front are common, as is a worn windshield. There is often minor damage around the car, such as scratches, paint damage and minor dents. Minor rust is common, especially on older cars.

Isofix cover on right rear missing. Some scratches and marks inside. Upholstery damaged at the rear. Upholstery is dirty.
Several scratches on the steps and bottom edge of the door insides as well as marks on the steering wheel, gear lever, knobs and instruments are common. The seats and textiles show clear wear and have some stains, also on the headliner. The luggage compartment often shows clear traces of use.

Tires are a wearing part and need to be replaced when they are old, when the tread depth is not sufficient or if the tires have obvious damage. The tread depth is indicated in millimeters. Scratch marks or scratches on the rims also occur.
