What do we notice in the Kvd test?
Our vehicle technicians have tested the car on more than 170 points and noted both approved points and eventual remarks. This gives you a good and fair picture of the car.
Since the the car has had a previous owner, some signs of use may be present, which we consider normal wear based on the car’s age and mileage. This is not indicated in the test results, but is a natural part of a used car.

Clunking noise in front suspension related to letting off the gas, especially noticeable from standstill and only when accelerating in first gear and quickly releasing the throttle causing engine braking. Coolant reservoir, mounting loose
The drivetrain works as it should but requires ongoing maintenance and replacement of components. The drivetrain is often noisier than on a car that has driven a shorter distance. Traces of oil in the engine compartment are common, and oil consumption is often higher than when the car was new.

Rubber seal around windshield out of place. Multiple rust attacks, paint damage, dents, stone chips and scratches. The car’s paint is dull, bodywork, some cracked/damaged plastic parts, plastic cover under engine missing. Small cracks in headlamp glass. Poor alignment between sills, fenders, front bumper and hood
Several stone chips in the front are common, as is a worn windshield. There is often minor damage around the car, such as scratches, paint damage and minor dents. Minor rust is common, especially on older cars.

Several scratches on the steps and bottom edge of the door insides as well as marks on the steering wheel, gear lever, knobs and instruments are common. The seats and textiles show clear wear and have some stains, also on the headliner. The luggage compartment often shows clear traces of use.

Paint damage on rim for spare tire, dry cracks in 4 spare tires
Tires are a wearing part and need to be replaced when they are old, when the tread depth is not sufficient or if the tires have obvious damage. The tread depth is indicated in millimeters. Scratch marks or scratches on the rims also occur.
