The Testad range is a wide range of used cars that, depending on their age and mileage, may require some maintenance and service as well as possible repairs. However, all vehicles are unique with their own history, so it is important to read the description and any comments in our test to understand the condition.

What do we notice in the Kvd test?
Our vehicle technicians have tested the car on more than 170 points and noted both approved points and eventual remarks. This gives you a good and fair picture of the car.
Since the the car has had a previous owner, some signs of use may be present, which we consider normal wear based on the car’s age and mileage. This is not indicated in the test results, but is a natural part of a used car.

The condition of the battery has not been able to be read – often because the car is new or the manufacturer does not allow it. The car has been test driven, charged and tested as usual.
Batteries in this range have significantly lower capacity. Reduced range and slower charging, especially in cold weather.

The drivetrain is fully functional, but more expensive service opportunities may occur in this range. Traces of oil are sometimes visible in the engine compartment.

Brakes are wearing parts and should be replaced when necessary. Surface rust may occur on the brake discs and is normal, without affecting the braking effect.

Several scratches on the steps and bottom edge of the door insides as well as marks on the steering wheel, gear lever, knobs and instruments are common. The seats and textiles show clear wear and have some stains, also on the headliner. The luggage compartment often shows clear traces of use.

Tires are a wearing part and need to be replaced when they are old, when the tread depth is not sufficient or if the tires have obvious damage. The tread depth is stated in millimeters. There are scratches or scuffs on the rims.
