What do we notice in the Kvd test?
Our vehicle technicians have tested the car on more than 170 points and noted both approved points and eventual remarks. This gives you a good and fair picture of the car.
Since the the car has had a previous owner, some signs of use may be present, which we consider normal wear based on the car’s age and mileage. This is not indicated in the test results, but is a natural part of a used car.

The drivetrain works as it should but requires ongoing maintenance and replacement of components. The drivetrain is often noisier than on a car that has driven a shorter distance. Traces of oil in the engine compartment are common, and oil consumption is often higher than when the car was new.

Brakes are wearing parts and should be replaced when necessary. Surface rust may occur on the brake discs and is normal, without affecting the braking effect.

Technology and equipment work as they should, but squeaks and jamming occur.

Left side rail damaged. Right side rail damaged. Multiple stone chips on the hood. Hood alignment. Paint damage on the hood. Noise when opening the left front door, rubber seal damaged on left front door. Rear bumper reflector damaged. Left side tail light damaged. Multiple scratches, few rust spots, multiple paint damages, traces of previous decals, multiple stone chips and scratches, multiple dents/door dings, bodywork, some cracked/damaged plastic parts, multiple stone chips, door dings, dents and scratches. Dented and damaged all around.
Several stone chips in the front are common, as is a worn windshield. There is often minor damage around the car, such as scratches, paint damage and minor dents. Minor rust is common, especially on older cars.
Interior
Worse than normal condition.

Strong odor. Inside some scratches, stains and marks. Loose interior parts. Steering wheel is worn. Worn interior. Upholstery damaged on left side. Upholstery dirty. Headliner dirty.
Several scratches on the steps and bottom edge of the door insides as well as marks on the steering wheel, gear lever, knobs and instruments are common. The seats and textiles show clear wear and have some stains, also on the headliner. The luggage compartment often shows clear traces of use.
Tires and rims

Tires are a wearing part and need to be replaced when they are old, when the tread depth is not sufficient or if the tires have obvious damage. The tread depth is indicated in millimeters. Scratch marks or scratches on the rims also occur.
