This is what our international purchasing power looks like

22 februari, 2024

A majority of the cars sold on kvd.se go to customers in Sweden. But did you know that almost one in five cars goes abroad? Here you can find out where our export buyers are, and what they want to buy.

Eastern Europe strong in purchasing power

Around one in five cars purchased through Kvdbil is sold to a buyer outside Sweden. Over the past year, just over 21 percent of all cars we have sold have been bid home by a buyer abroad. Of these, Estonia stands out as a strong number one with 22 percent, closely followed by Poland with 17% and with a fairly large drop, Denmark (9%) comes in third, followed by Lithuania, Slovenia, Finland and Germany.

These cars are most in demand

Just like in Sweden, there is great demand for Volkswagen and Volvo, but our international customers also have great interest in Mercedes, BMW and Audi.

When it comes to fuel, diesel cars continue to be in the highest demand. The number of diesel cars exported in the past year is almost four times as many as gasoline-powered cars.
