Each week hundreds of new auction objects are presented at kvd.se. During the week buyers can visit the site to read detailed descriptions of the objects and view pictures of them.
Some of the information about the auction objects is in English. This is highlighted by a British flag. Click on the flag to view the information in English.
Buyers may also visit KVD's facilities to view auction objects on-site and test drive them.
To place a bid you must first register as a new member, which is free of charge and only takes a couple of minutes. Simply click on "Register new user account" and fill in your name, address, e-mail, etc. We will then send you a password by SMS and e-mail and you can then confirm your membership.
As a registered member you simply sign in and place bids for the objects on sale at the week's auctions. To place a bid, please click on the "Bud" (Bids) tab.
Placing bids is free of charge. If you place the winning bid, you will be charged an auction fee on top of the bidding price. The auction fee amount is stated under the "Bud" (Bids) tab.
Bidding takes place online and is open to all. The auctions can be monitored there by all visitors, and each individual bid is shown immediately. The auction's countdown begins on the date and at the time stated for each item.
When the bidding has stopped for a period of approximately 3 minutes and 30 seconds, the auction is concluded. The time that the auction ends is therefore not fixed. Click on "Update" (Uppdatera) below the pictures if you'd like to see the highest bid right away, (this is updated automatically every 90 seconds).
If you have made the winning bid when the auction concludes you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a time to collect your object. Collection must normally be within five working days.
All objects have a reserve price (minimum price). If the reserve price is not reached, then the seller has the right not to sell the object.
The bids usually exceed the stated reserve price. If this is not the case, the price is usually adjusted to a level that both buyer and seller can accept. Please note that as the winning bidder you are always bound by your bid, even if the reserve price is not reached.
You are welcome to pick up your auction object at the place were it is located. KVD has auction facilities in twelve locations in Sweden. When you come to visit us you will first be asked to check the condition of the object to ensure that the condition meets reasonable expectations with regard to age, description and price. After that you will make the final payment, sign the contract and take the object with you.
Many of the objects sold at kvd.se are exported to countries around the world, and we are accustomed to helping our customers with that process.
However, please note that there are specific rules in our auction terms relating to export. If you have any questions about this process you are welcome to contact us.
